Recent Review: Work was performed in a timely manner and finished earlier than expected. Need to pay a little more attention to the details ie: paint chipped and baseboards not completely painted. Nails in sheet rock could have been knocked in prior to painting for a cleaner finish. Owners very easy to work with and desire to make the customer happy. I would recommend JNT Developers, just ask that they keep a close eye on the workmanship of the hired help. Aurora Home Painting
I visited with & received proposals from several paint contractors, including some firms that are highly rated on Angie's List. Many of them seemed capable of providing quality service, but Phillips impressed me as being the most professional organization. Everyone I contacted with them was helpful, friendly, and professional. Antonio, the crew leader of the painters, was exceptional. He provided a major league thorough prep job before applying paint and then gave us a great paint job. The cleanup process before leaving was thorough. Phillips will tell you that they are not the least expensive paint contractor on the scene, but they are far from being the highest. Their price was in the middle of the bids we received. In my opinion, Phillips is a premier painting contractor. Let me also say that it was my subscription to Angie's List that enabled me to find them. Aurora Home Painting
Exterior paint jobs depend on the house’s square footage, though the number of stories and other variables will affect the price. The cost is typically between $1 to $1.80 per square foot. A a 1,500 square foot house would cost the customer $1,500 to $2,500 and a 3,000 square foot house would cost the customer $3,500 to $4,500, according to Painting Leads.
A single gallon of paint can run anywhere from $20 to $80 per gallon. Professionals get a contractor discount of anywhere from 25 to 50 percent. For rough siding, like stucco, you’ll need to use 10% to 20% more paint. Some textures, like wood and stucco, require extra paint because they have more surface to cover in a tiny area compared to smooth siding. Use the highest quality exterior paint your budget will allow for your project. It will look the nicest and save you money by offering better coverage and durability. Better coverage means fewer coats and fewer work hours. You’ll also go a few years longer without needing to shell out more cash for a new coat. How do you know how much paint you're paying for? Here's some helpful math: Aurora House Painting
The truth is that there are a lot of things that can go wrong with a sloppy painting job and the crappy results will be instantly visible. Prepping the ceiling and walls as well as carefully repairing any damages is 50% of a successful job. However, cheap painters typically rush through this part of the project. Consequently, you see small holes in the walls, paint stains, bubbling paint and other ugly errors.
Like metal siding, brick and masonry are easy to brush down and clean with a solution of water and triphosphate sodium — but they take longer to dry. They can be brush painted — but spray painting cost less – about $1.50–$2.00 per square foot. Both methods offer good coverage, but many painters recommend brush painting brick because it forces the paint into more nooks and crannies for a longer-lasting finish.
I hired Nielson 6-7 years ago to paint my chimney he painted it and replace a couple of rotten boards. Other painters were going to paint right over the bad wood. This past year I had him paint the entire exterior of my house. The work was done on time and to my satisfaction. When I am able, I will ask him to paint the interior of my house as well as some remodeling work. I highly recommend Nielson Painting and Remodeling. Home Painters Aurora CO
"RECOMMEND! After a huge slab leak, hiring Lux Hardwoods was our best decision for reconstruction and renovation. Stan and his team are experienced, professional, and courteous. Every room of the first floor required reconstruction and we chose to do some remodeling at the same time, and Stan's design experience and eye differentiated a job that would have been only repair to a newly remodeled and updated home to a style that fits our vision and personality. We love it! Each member of his team specializes in areas such as carpentry, flooring, paint and electric, and all communicated well with us and respected our home and our schedules. They did hardwood, including stairs, paint, reconstruction, and wiring. He was often on site consulting with us and his team, and he was always available by phone and text. Stan eased our home-owner reconstruction anxieties and delivered on his word! We will definitely call them for future projects."
You’ll spend between $500 and $3,000 or $1 to $3.50 per square foot to paint concrete. However, expect to pay $2 to $7 per square foot since concrete almost always needs a coat of primer first. Double that price if the concrete requires stripping. Concrete is porous. Sealing it not only helps blend foundations and walls with your home’s aesthetic, but also seals it against water. Repairing or resurfacing concrete costs $300 to $500 for every 100 square feet.
I can't say enough great things about Saints of Paint. They went above and beyond my expectations in every possible way. They painted the entire interior of my house and the work that they did was perfect, thorough, and very reasonably priced. Not one detail was missed. On top of that, each member of the team is very friendly, honest, and considerate.
Exterior paint averages $25-$40 a gallon, and a 3,000-square-foot home takes 15 or more gallons of paint, or $375-$600 just for the paint. However, really premium paint can cost $50-$100 a gallon, or $750-$1,500 for that large home. Doing it yourself also requires renting a pressure washer or sprayer for $50-$100 a day; extra-long ladders or scaffolding at $20-$75 daily; and a power sprayer for $50-$100 daily, plus masking tape, drop cloths and other supplies. However, it's possible to paint a large, two-story house for materials-only costs of $400-$600. Home Painters Aurora CO
Expect to pay between $600 to $3,500 or $1.25 to $3 per square foot to coat vinyl, with prices likely increasing for the finish. It is one of the more inexpensive siding materials to have repainted, especially with recent innovations in materials. Changing the finish on your siding is not recommended unless it's completely degraded and worn away by the weather. You can save nearly half the vinyl siding installation cost of $4 per square foot by painting rather than replacing. Before adding a new coat to vinyl siding,
- Go for neutral colors. Every person has their own color preferences, so there is no point in trying to impress with the trendiest hues of the current year. Instead, go for time tested, classic and neutral colors, such as beige, taupe, cream, shades of grey, off white. If you want to add more color on an accent wall, shades of blue, green, or warm earth tones always have a nice general appeal.
